This Magnetic Clarifier reduces the formation of mineral salts (lime scale) and enhances the performance of UV Sterilizers/Clarifiers. Good for ponds up to 4,000 gallons. It comes with 2 "click-fit" connectors that adapt to 3/4", 1" or 1 1/4" tubing. After installing this unit, it will take 4-6 weeks before you see visible evidence of lime scale reduction. Avoid water changes during this period. PH levels may be affected.

TetraPond® GreenFree™ UV Clarifiers provide permanent control of suspended algae which cause green water. Heavy green water algae blooms are removed in most ponds within 5 days, keeping the pond green water algae algae free. This means water clarity is improved while reducing pond maintenance. Each unit is compact, durable, easy-to-install and energy efficient. This UV Clarifier is not submersible and should be brought in during the winter months when temperatures are at or below freezing. It is very important you follow installation instructions in order to ensure you do not run too many GPH through this unit. These are the newest model of Tetra’s Green Free UV units.
*The flow rates and pond sizes listed below for Tetra UVs were assigned by the manufacturer and are NOT guaranteed by AZPonds.com to work. In general, we would suggest the pond size and flow rates for each unit to be dropped by approximately 80% of what the manufacturer recommends. Please call if you have any questions!

Little Giant WaterMark UV Clarifiers

The Little Giant UV clarifiers were designed to be easy to install, long lasting and powerful! These UVs range from 9 watts to 36 watts and use the well known Phillips UVC output lamps to kill green water algae. The replacement lamps for these units are inexpensive compared to T-5 UVC output lamps and are very easy to replace. Maintenance on the Little Giant UV clarifiers is minimal, simply clean the quartz sleeve every three months and replace the lamp every spring. These UVCs also feature a rotatable connector design for versatile installations and include mounting brackets for added stability. This UV has a thermally sensitive electronic ballast which helps prevent heat overload, extending the life of the ballast. If you are looking for a serious UV, one that is easy to install and maintain, you found it with the Little Giant UVC units. Unit pictures in 9 watt model.
