The Atlantic unique weir design improves skimming action. The skimmer enclosure houses and hides almost any submersible pump. The extra wide basket and filter means much less maintenance. The Atlantic skimmer pre filters the water and protects against pump clog-up. The waterfall filters designed by Atlantic are up-flow filters. This means water flows from the pump into the filter through the bulkhead fitting and directly into the swirl chamber. Then the water goes through the grate and filter mat where solids are removed. For the final step, water flows through the media bag and filter material, and out over the spillway into your pond or stream. The PondMaster Mini Skimmer can easily be added to almost any new or Pre-existing pond or water garden. The PondMaster Mini Skimmer works differently then most other skimmers because it is placed inside of the pond, in the water, rather than going through the liner. The PondMaster Mini Skimmer can have the pump connected to either the right or left side of the skimmer, or even at the bottom. Pre threaded holes are already there and included are adapters for 1/2" and 3/4" NPT inlets.

The filter system inside the skimmer base eliminates suspended partials from below the water surface. The self-adjusting/floating skimmer adjusts to uneven pond bottom, aerates water and clears large debris from the pond. The adjusting skimmer allows for a 6" difference in water level. The filter system eliminates most suspended particles from below the water surface. A flow control ring directs water to the skimmer or the filter. Coarse and foam media provides both mechanical and biological filtration. The PondMaster Skimmer/Filter can even accept other media such as stone, ceramics and lava rock (not included).
