What size pump do I need?

0 votes
I am installing a pond that is 13' wide x 25' long (kidney shape) x 4' deep (at deepest end) (shallow end of 2'). I need to confirm pump size...

I calculate about a 10,500gph pump. I have a waterfall that is approximately 4' high and has a spillway opening of approximately 62" inches (2 x 31" weirs side by side). I intend on using approximately 65' of 2" pipe to move the water.

What pump size is recommended? I don't want water roaring out of my waterfall...

take a look at the shinmaywa brand pumps ,they make a low heads 10,500 or the 7,000 this just depends on if your going to have fish and what type of filtration are you looking at ..always feel free to email or tech support directly at tech@azponds.com.
