4 Steps to a Clear Water Guarantee

  2. Determine the fish load:

    3. The more fish in the pond, the higher the nutrient load and the larger the filter system should be.

    LIGHT – Ponds with plants and few or no fish
    MEDIUM – Ponds with plants and with 10 in. of fish per 100 gallons of water or less
    HEAVY – Ponds with plants and with koi or 20+ in. of fish per 100 gallons of water

Finally, water is bathed in ultraviolet light in an EPA-certified clarifier to further inhibit the growth of green water algae.
